What to expect...

The setlist spans Tarantino’s entire filmography, from the surf-rock twang of Miserlou to Nancy Sinatra’s hauntingly beautiful Bang Bang. Street Life brings the funk, the 5 6 7 8’s Woo Hoo dips into pop punk, Bowie’s Cat People is hypnotic, and Hush and California Dreaming are a welcome visit to ‘60s pop—the great tunes just keep on coming. There'll be something for all you Daddy-os and Kitty-Cats out there.

About us

Christabel Tallowin has been on the Perth music scene for 15 years, singing with her partner and guitarist, Wayne Tallowin. Together they have played in various bands, acoustic duos and trios over the past eighteen years.

For this show, Christabel has pulled together some incredible, well-seasoned players. 

Christabel Tallowin and Joyce Mathers singing lead vocals; Wayne Tallowin playing lead electric and acoustic guitar; Kim Anning playing lead guitar, flute and the banjo; Matthew Bateman-Graham plays bass with Nathan Winterflood on drums.

Collectively they have created an intriguing show, performing well known Tarantino soundtrack songs whilst telling a story of Tarantino and his use of music in his written and directed movies.
